Teka Leads The Way Of World's Largest Precast Plant In Russia
Teka International, a leading German company in the field of concrete technology, has played a pivotal role in the construction of the world's largest precast plant in Russia. This impressive facility, known as DSK Grad, is located in the Kotowo Industrial Estate in the district of Naro-Fominsk in the Greater Moscow area.
DSK Grad boasts a production capacity of 525,000 square meters, with 450,000 square meters dedicated to housing construction and 75,000 square meters for the construction of public buildings. The plant's large area allows for future expansion of production capacities. Teka's involvement in the project has been crucial, providing state-of-the-art equipment and technology to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
One of the key features of the DSK Grad precast plant is its fully automated production process. Teka has supplied and installed a high-performance dosing and mixing plant, which includes five completely autonomous and independent mixing stations. Four of these stations are equipped with Teka's proven TPZ 3750 high-performance planetary mixers, while the fifth station features a Teka THT 1500 high-performance turbine mixer.
The dosing and mixing plant is equipped with 24 chambers for storing and dosing aggregates. The complete feeding system, silo installation, and mixing stations are generously sized to allow optimum accessibility for cleaning and maintenance work. Additionally, the plant is equipped with state-of-the-art safety technology to ensure the safety of operators.
Teka's mixers are renowned worldwide for their efficiency and reliability. The planetary mixers, with their countercurrent principle, guarantee fast and clean emptying of the mixer via a large discharge opening. The turbine mixer, on the other hand, is particularly suitable for mixing difficult concrete mixtures and has a considerably lower degree of contamination.
Apart from the dosing and mixing plant, Teka has also supplied other essential equipment for the DSK Grad precast plant. This includes high-performance feeders with a bottom-discharge design, which transport the aggregates from the weighbelts to the mixers. Teka's sophisticated logistics and warehouse management system have also contributed to the plant's overall efficiency.
In summary, Teka's participation in the construction of the DSK Grad precast plant has been instrumental in making it one of the largest and most advanced facilities in the world. With Teka's cutting-edge technology and equipment, the plant is capable of producing high-quality precast concrete elements efficiently and cost-effectively. This project demonstrates Teka's expertise in the field of concrete technology and its ability to meet the challenges of large-scale construction projects in Russia.
